I haven't been on lately, hitting the time clock to work up another bankroll.  Had a horrible case of the "run-bads" live and online.  better than half of it was just horrible luck, the other part was not knowing when to walk away.  I don't want to go into much detail but will mention two hands that describe most of that night.  (1/3 NLHE) I have AA in middle position, was folded to me, I make it $20 to go, this guy on my left with crazy sideburns min raises to $40, everyone else folds, I push with another $220 on top, he insta-calls.  I'm thinking he's gotta have KK, but nope he snap called with JTos.  He flops a jack and turns a ten, which gave me a gutshot but I couldn't re-suck(?) out.  A few hands later the same guy gets involved with a friend of mine, flop was Ace-garbage-garbage. Sideburns guy says "I don't think you have an Ace" and puts in a weak bet.  My friend puts his stack in (around $150, which was only a lil over the pot) get's called and shows AdQd, sideburns tables his pocket ten's and like a firecracker hits his two-outer on the turn.  This guy was playing tight but once he was in a pot, would never fold and ended up cracking everything... then I saw the 7th cardinal sin happening: someone tried to bluff him.  I was thinking wow, crazy person.  Sideburns can't fold, goddamnit!  an hour later he filled up two racks and left with a grin from ear to ear.

As for online I couldn't get anything going, hold 'em, PLO, MTT's, SNG's, you name it.  I showed a total lack of dicipline by running bad and playing harder with no results then just playing bad.  I ended up getting drunk, punching a wall and putting in a "self-exclusion" for six months on full tilt, not sure if I would have gone to that extreme sober but what's done is done.  I like Power Poker but most of the traffic is definatly cash games.  I'm in the state where I need the low risk/high reward ratio so it's going to be tournaments for the foreseeable future.  I put a hundred on UB last night (the max deposit through e-check), played a few $10+1 & $15+1.50 GTD's made a few deep runs and one cash which put me about +$40 for the night.  It's almost 10am which means I've been up for nearly 24 hours and I go to work at 1 till 10.

On a side note, I feel freaking great.  I've been eating better and exercising more.  "running more to run better" I call it, they say exercise pumps more serotonin and dopamine to the brain, it's like drugs but doesn't cost anything.
