I've been down online and live, not serious, less than 1k total but still, it's pain.  after a horrible run in tournaments online I played a live game and the big surprise didn't hit me untill a few hours after I got home.

I have been a semi regular at a "club" that generally spreads 1/2 & 5/5 hold 'em & PLO.  anyway, there is one guy that plays and kind of runs things not sure if he's the owner or whatever but I know enough not to out play him too much.  I was sitting around the middle facing the dealer and the "big guy" wanted the middle seat so that he could see everyone, he said.  I didn't think much of it at the time.  I did notice that he wasn't really looking at anyone though... he was kind of slumped over almost at eye level with his chips.

That was part of the surprise when I connected the dots at home, the dealer that was on had a previous "habbit" of pitching the cards high.  That is if you're sitting directly across from him you can tell what's being dealt out.  I actually stopped a few hands for misdeals in the past, but he seemed to get better at dealing in the last few months.  What I thought was a beginners mistake may have actually been an employee taking orders and unconsciously pitching high when the boss was away.

I still don't know for sure, but I doubt that I'll be back there.  only 2 months away from the shit being legal here, with cameras and dealers that had background checks
