This has been one interesting night of tournament poker.

I started my usual session at 9.30 pm and had a horrific run to start with, dropping over 1k in buyins within the first hour. I was a bit tilted and decided to take the night off after all my ongoing tournaments were finished, and started unregging furiously from everything.

I then noticed a weird 1,4k€ satellite at a euro site (MicroGaming) that'd be starting in 15 minutes. It had a guarantee of two 6k€ packages and it was a one-table turbo. It had only two people in, so I smelled a sick overlay and joined.

40 seconds prior to the start there were still only 3 people. Then a 4th guy showed up. As a further bad beat, another guy joined exactly one sec before it closed (no late reg). So in the end there were five 1,4k buy-ins (7k total) and 12k worth of prizes for a pretty sick overlay.

It turned out the players were bad. REALLY bad. They knocked each other out within 20 minutes, so exactly 35 minutes after randomly noticing this tournament I had won a a 6k package for 1,4k. Talking of hourly rates...
