It's been a while since my last blog. From being 110k up at best to being down 50k.. After my results got to the negative side I decided to keep grinding and blog after I'm up again, unfortunately this didn't happen and suddenly I was leaving for Paris WPT.

At the start I thought I was finally going to start running above EV. I'm still very disappointed in my EV results so far, but I do feel I've been running bad cooler-wise aswell. Also alot of these hands I played felt "forced" while I was doing something doing something else/trying out Civilization 5, and even made a couple of pretty expensive missclicks.. Have to start taking this more seriously once again.

All in all it's not that bad. I'm around 100k down on Fulltilt/Stars and up 50 on taxfree sites so if I expect to be up on US-sites by the end of the year I'm even for the year in a way. In big blinds the results aren't that bad either, almost 10bb/100 hands. For example I'm up 20k on 3/6€ over 8k hands.

I was hoping Paris would put me on the green again but no.. it's amazing how good value there is still to be had in french tournaments. They now have many different online sites running qualifiers for these bigger live tournaments, the fields are weaker online resulting in weaker regulars winning who will also buyin for the bigger live tourneys etc.. Still so sick I haven't been able to turn around this live tourney stretch. I've been watching alot of MTT training videos of good players but it seems I'm still on the right track in NLHE tourneys aswell, and if I disagree with some decision in the video I can usually prove why my way would've been more profitable. Anyways I was close to the money the 5k€ WPT main event with almost an average stack when I lost a very big pot with QQ vs KK and busted out pushing 15bbs from the CO with Q8s getting called by JJ in the big blind. After this I still stayed for the France Poker Series 4k€ highroller, where I also made day 2, had around an average stack with 14 people left and 6 getting paid, where I first called a btn shove with 99 and lost against K6s. Then shoved over an open with AA and got called by 99 and busted. I know these tourney busting stories are really boring to read so I try to keep them as short as possible. It's just very furstrating to be playing some of the softest fields and keep losing. So trip ended down over 10k including hotels/flights.

I think I'll skip EPT Copenhagen this year, last year I just had to go because of the lol value of making it back-to-back. It didn't have as strong of a field as I expected but still I don't think I'll be making too many trips for just 1 live tourney, especially since I'm prolly spending atleast 3 weeks in Vegas at the WSOP this year as I finally turned 21. Also the WSOPE is a must go now that it is in Cannes, great move by them which makes the fields a bit easier!

now if you got it.. put it in the air! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goTWApDGQUA
