I've been to Vegas for a week now. I'm staying at the new Aria Hotel, which is pretty cool. Seems like almost everybody is playing a lot of events and making all kinds of sick prop bets. It feels like such a waste of time to sit all day at the Rio. I dunno... at least I feel like there must be better things to do in Vegas.

I was thinking of playing the 25k 6-handed NL today, but since it started an hour ago and I just woke up (and haven't bought in) it looks like I skipped it. It would've been a nice one, altho the field is probably really tough and it's easier to find value in the other events. I looked at the schedule before and decided to play this one, but I forgot which day was it. I checked it last nite, and since I played online until 5am I just didn't feel like going there. But that's more than fine with me.

The 10k PLO is tomorrow, but I don't think I'll play that one either. Looks like it's gonna be just the Main Event for me this year. I guess Vegas is more like a vacation for me, at least this year. Nice dinners every night, going out every now and then, maybe working out a little bit, some golf perhaps, shopping, hanging out by the pool. Sounds much better than grinding at the Rio all day long.

I started playing on FTP again (can't play much European sites from here). I've had some NL action, against UrnotInDanger2, jungleman12, tiltstars. I grinded some 25/50 PLO. A few hands of 200/400 PLO CAP, even some 250/500 7-game. And last night I played 100/200 NL + 1000/2000 Limit Holdem against O Fortuna PLS. I got a nice start, I won like 30k in Limit right away, then we got the money in from the flop in NL, my set against his overpair, which I lost (46k pot). Then I started losing every hand in Limit too and I tilted too badly to continue. So we didn't play more than half an hour and I ended up losing 28k. I probably shouldn't play Limit Holdem this high against this guy, since I'm not good at it. But would be nice to run good or even normal at least sometimes when you play higher. It's not cool to take the sickest beat in the biggest pot of the day. Even tho I ended up winning some overall online yesterday, after that last session I felt like I had a big losing day.

I think I'm off to the gym now to start the day good.
