I'll tell you some of the key hands of the tournaments in Warsaw. First of all the main event. I've been building my stack up to 45k and I call a raise from the button with 44. 3 handed flop, 249 with flush draw. Elky bets out, raiser calls, I make a big raise, Elky goes all in, the other guy gets out of the way, I call. Elky had Q9 flush draw. I felt like I'm the one with the 30%, if even that. Obv impossible to pair the board and the flush comes on the river. 40k pot, I still have almost the starting stack.

Next big hand on the blind battle. SB limps in, I raise 1k more with A3 because I think I'm ahead. SB calls and the flop is 45Q with flush draw. He checks I bet out 1,9k, he raises to 5k. I don't think he has to have anything here. I probably should've moved in here, because he didn't have that much behind. But I just call. Turn is a 9, third diamond. He checks, I bet 8,5k, he moves in for less than 10k more. I don't think he can ever have better than a queen here, so I have a flush draw, a gutshot and an over card. I call and He shows 97 offsuit. What a brilliant play. Of course I'm drawing dead with my 32%.

I manage to double up KK v. JTo but I still have only 10k. I get it in with an open ended st8 flush draw, but how could that ever beat one pair??

Then there was the high roller tournament. Amazing dream table, the only really good player was Sorel Mizzi who was the first one to bust. And maybe the German PokerStars pro Florian Langmann is pretty good too, but he was the second out so things looked pretty good. 50k starting stack, after two levels I had 170k and I was controlling the table. A few really tight players who were totally dead money, they just waited for their big pocket pair to run to a set so they can give away their chips.

First I made a move on 2345x board, I bet out small on the turn with Q7 just to find out if anyone  has an ace. I found out there was one and then I was going to give it up but the opponent makes a very small value bet and I get this idea I can outplay his ace. I wasn't caught on any bluffs the entire time and I made it look just like the valuebets I made before. It also makes sence to checkraise there with a 6 since I know what he has and he should know that I know that. I felt so bad when he couldn't lay it down. I mucked so I didn't get to see his hand. But I guess 6 is a snap call, can't raise, can't fold so it should be an instant call and it took a few minutes for him to call so I'm pretty sure he just had the ace. I called a raise from the big blind and the blinds were still low so I defend my blind with a lot of hands so I could easily have a 6 but I found out later he was a really big calling station and that was just a waste of chips.

Then 2 hands later I open the button with 9T suited. The same guy calls, and the flop is 349 rainbow. I bet 3,5k and he calls. turn is a 5, I bet 8500 and he calls. River is an ace. He checks again and I think about it a very long time and decided to value bet 17,400. I was very close to checking since he never folds an ace with a high kicker on any board, and prolly not ace ace on this case so that's another hand that beats me. He can also have 9 with a better kicker or some two pair or st8. I still think I usually have him beat here and since I just bluffed him he might call me with 56, 66, 77, 88, or even with like K4 or something. He called with 34, two pair. I don't know where he gets the check call on the flop with. Who wants to slowplay bottom two out of position?? I had some second thought about the value bet after the hand, against a good player it would definitely be a place to valuebet but I'm not even sure if he is good enough to hero call with the hands I said he might call with.

Then a minute after this I open KT suited and Dario Minieri is the only caller from BB. The flop is KT7 with a flush draw, I bet, he calls. Turn is a 9, I bet 8300, and he moves in for 25k. I can't really go anywhere there since he is the loosest player in the world and can also be valuebetting with a lot of worse hands. Of course he has to have QJ and the river is a blank.

I was down to less than 100k. I lose some small pots and a little bit later I have only 60k left. I open with QQ, the likes-to-call-guy 3-bets me from the button which was probably the fifth time in the last hour. He showed some of the hands and the ones he showed were like QQ-AK types of hands but I know he doesn't have a hand no way near every time there. I 4-bet to 19700 trying to represent there might still be fold equity. I just 4-bet Dario a moment before and folded to his push. He instacalls and we go to flop with 40k in the pot and I have 40k behind. Flop is very nice A35, I check, he bets 20k. I think about it a long time and take reads and put the money in. Surprisingly he calls me with JJ and I double up. Very strange hand indeed.

A moment later Dario opens (every hand started like that) to 2700 and tight Italian old guy moves in for 8bb. Still he doesn't have to have a monster since he can valuepush against Dario with almost any kind of hand and the game was 5-handed. So I call from his left side with 88. I took Dario in the pot so I could maybe build a nice side pot with him. He calls and the flop is 447 with flush draw. Dario checks and I bet one third of the pot, Dario moves in for 3 times the pot. I know he is on a flush draw and I ask him how high is his draw. I figured it's probably high enough to have 15 outs so I decided not to gamble for that much. I fold and he has JT flush draw and the other Italian has 99 and he wins (I woulda made a st8 and won), so maybe I should've folded in the first place.

Then the next one was when Dario opened from the button, and I 3-bet with AK suited from BB. I was hoping he would 4-bet so I could get the money in so I wouldn't have to play the hand out of position since he is going to float all the flops I don't hit. It looked like 4-bet was close but he just called. Flop came KTT rainbow, I bet and he calls. Turn is a 7 and I check to keep the pot smaller. He bets one third of the pot and I call. River is another 7 and he bets half the pot. I didn't think it's very likely that he is bluffing but he makes thin value bets so It could've been weaker king as well. I called and he had QT and I only had 20k chips left.

A few hands later Dario opens to 2700 and I move in from the button with AQ and somehow he finds the insta-call-button with a7 off...maybe because there was a 7 on the flop to knock me out.

It has been pretty much the same the last six months, whenever things look a little bit better for a day or two I come crushing down. No matter if I play good or bad I can't run good more than like half a day but the bad run seems to be endless.
