We finally got all the pieces together
and we are now ready to announce
the Coinflip Coaching Project

The CCP is made possible with the help of Betsafe and PowerPoker as sponsors.

What is the CCP?
Coinflip will choose three forum users who play mircro stake No Limit Holdem (NL10 to NL30) and give them ten hours of personal coaching along with a Holdem manager license and a small bankroll.

Who can participate as students?
If you play No Limit Holdem 6-max (or 5-max) at limits NL10 to NL30 then it's you we're looking for. We know that there are huge numbers of players playing those stakes and they are usually not the target of standard promotions. You do already know poker and you want to become better which is rather hard for most players. We don't expect you to be a winning player or anything. You just have to be interested in learning and sharing your experiences with others.

The Coaches
There are three coaches on this project. Chenloa (Diego), Sune and I. We will take one student each. Chenloa's student will be US based and get to represent PowerPoker where Sune and I will each take a student who will be representing Betsafe. We expect that the project will run for about two month after the students are chosen.

What is expected of the students?
We expect that you will make some content for Coinflip regarding the coaching you are receiving. This can be in form of a blog, some videos or what ever suits you best. The essence is that everybody will benefit from the CCP in one way or another. This is why we also expect you to have a decent written or spoken English. You don't have to be an expert or anything, just good enough to be able to communicate with the coaches and other users.

If you get through the project in a satisfying way we have a few surprises for you, but I'd rather not give it away before we have selected the students.

Application
If this sounds like something for you please write an application to support@coinflip.com and put '[CCP] Application' in the subject. Write half a page about yourself and why you feel you are the right person for the project. The following information is required:

  • Real name, forum name and age
  • Nationality (based in US/EU/other)
  • English level (below medium, medium, above medium). Grade both written and spoken

We will use the application for deciding who will be chosen.

Deadline for applications is Friday the 3rd of September.

If you have any questions direct them to me in this thread on the forum and I will try to answer them as good and as fast as I can.
