Hey guys,



I've been thinking about starting a blog here and finally found same spare time since it's my autumn holiday. Some of the Finnish blog-readers may already know who I am but I think little introduction is still in place.


So... I'm pretty young guy from Helsinki who has played poker now about 2,5 years ( I made my first touch in poker much earlier but a two and a half years ago I started to play like one time in week ). At the beginning I used to watch when my dad played and sometimes he gave me 10% of his winnings ( he played 30-100$ superturbo sng's on ladbrokes) So I got my first bankroll as a gift from my dad. Heh, nowadays he has many times mentioned that he regrets ever even showing me a one hand of poker, but I guess he never thought where it would lead- neither did I though. So I got my first bankroll- won a bit -> I was sure that I'm "the chosen one". The guy who would kill the hole poker community even as a underage ( and I had won like 500€ when these thoughts popped in to my head, lol ). But oopsie, then came the first DS ever and it changed my plans a bit. Actually I’m not even sure if it was DS, probably I just ran like a God in the beginning. Anyway those were hard times for me, I started loosing and couldn’t change the way before I went broke. And I didn't just bust my own bankroll, I busted my dad's bankroll as well. Now when I look it back it's very clear why I went broke there- I had no br management, no stoploss, no skills, no good luck, nothing really. So where was I about 2 years ago?

 

I was not just broke but in debt for 1,4k$ to my dad , had barely age to drive moped and I was terribly addicted to poker. Great combination huh? So the next day came but what next? Dad told I need to get a job that I can pay him back, but as usual I had other plans. On that same day I already started to play player point sng's at full tilt where winner would get a 26$ tournament token. I managed to win couple of tokens- next day I played some 26$ KO tournament, came fourth place and cashed something like 670$. I'm still playing with those 670 bucks. So where am I today?

 

I'm playing almost only NLHE HU at nl1k-nl2k as a reg and sometimes taking shots to bigger games as well ( bankroll management is still one of my biggest weaknesses, lol) although I have started to play more n more PLO (with bad results hehe).+Obv I play also the biggest weekly tourneys and I guess my Graph in those just started to look more like a freefall than a good-old slope like it used to be. They just don't bluff enough there! Or I might be bluffing too much... who knows.

 

I think I'm going to post here the casual ones: Some bad-beats, some HH (with ice-cold analysis obv, hehe), how I'm taking huge swings which I unfortunately have, and even some stories from my life. The reason why I started this blog is that I think it will be good for my English and I like blogging but can't really do it anymore in Finnish. Hope that atleast some of you will ramble through these posts.
