This is the first time I've written for Coinflip. I think this is a good opportunity, because Coinflip is a cool website that puts out a lot of interesting material for poker players, and I am happy that I can contribute and post alongside Ziigy & Lars and everyone else at Coinflip. I've played a lot with Zig & Lars in the past, and partied with Ziggy a couple times in Vegas. They are great players and both cool dudes.

 

I just almost took down the Bay 101 WPT Shooting Star 10k... went out 9th, for a 28k win... 1st was almost 900k. Pretty sick... Anyways, that is that for my poker whining. It's obviously been on my mind the last week since I busted, and I just needed to vent somewhere. FU Luck! =) I stayed up in the Bay Area for a few days, saw some of my best friends from high school who are working as lawyers up there and my little sis. I came down to San Diego with Antonio a few days ago, and I've been down here relaxing and one day I played some poker, 1/2 NLHE, 1/2 PLO, and picked up a little bit of $$ for my time.. =)

The weather is so gorgeous here, I have been thinking about leaving for a few days now, but just can't seem to leave this city. I had a great workout today at a downtown gym called Fit which is absolutely fabulous, and after went to Pinkberry for my post work-out carbs. They have really figured out frozen yogurt... It's hard to believe something so damn tasty can be good for you (eating it after a workout for post-workout carbs)!

 

I am in SD for one more day I think... then going to LA to pick up my Visa for Brazil. I went there in January, but between now and then I had to renew my passport, so I had to reapply for a visa... which I did a few months ago before my first trip.. Highly annoying, because it is a somewhat extensive process. I want to go down for two weeks at the beginning of April before the WPT 25k championship at Bellagio. I am in love with Rio de Janeiro right now.
