How do I make money at a table when I just sat down?

So i sit down in a NL $50 buy in cash game of $1/$2 at a casino. Obviously, there are people who are already stacked on the table and I must some how bring a table image of being tight till i have something huge enough to start betting. The problem is, it's kinda scary to play when you started with just $50 and someone might just reraise you enough to just call all in.....so the question is------------> what should be my hand range to play when I just jumped into a table?????????

Usually in live cash games people tend to raise more than 2,5x or 3x the big blind. Im used to seeing anything from 5x to 15x straight so this in my mind makes it harded to play a short stack. With such a short stack I would decide my pushing range depeding on the position of the 1st raiser. If someone raises from an early position I would prolly stick it in with 88+ myself and if its a late position raiser I'd go with TJ+ even. Good thing about pushing lighter is that even if you lose or win the hand the other players will see you are playing with somewhat wider range. If you double up during the first few hands with a sh1tty hand then concider playing a little tighter for a round or two. If you lose the hand, then concider buyin with a full stack and play a little tighter or try these:

Still I'm not sure about the optimal strategy for short stacking, but here are my few tips if you decide to buyin full stack and want to make it look like you are the fish:

- Limp in a couple of times

- Act when its not your turn (throw your hand to the dealer, bet out of turn etc.)

- Minbet or min 3bet preflop. Your holdings doesnt matter, but if the cards are bad I'd recommend showing them :)

There goes. A few tips that will make it look like you dont know what you're doing. Then again it really depends on the table and the players, if they even care what you are doing.

Also with a shorter stack it is always better if you are the one pushing ALL-IN and not calling someones allin bet.

Buy in for full. If for some reason you don't, then with a 25BB stack I'd be looking for resteal spots. Say CO opens, BTN calls, you shove Ts9s from SB. If the open is 3,5x, there is now 3,5BB+3,5BB+1BB+0,5BB = 8,5BB of dead money in the pot. You shove 25BB to win +8,5BB, usually won't get called and even if you do you have decent equity = $$$
