The popularity of poker is steadily getting better in Miami. The juicy apart about this news is that there are TONS of new players everyday and they are sure risking a lot of money just trying to learn on the tables...and what did you say!?!?....of course, I follow those ATM's like a GPS. I've been invited to 3 home games full of lawyers in downtown and I was called excitedly to come down and play.

Caller-Yo, you free for tonight? Poker all night

Hero-who's gonna be there?

Caller-let's just say that you're not gonna be needing a job for a few months..........hello? You coming?

About 12 minutes later I show up knocking on the door. It usually takes about 35 minutes to drive to downtown and then another 10 minutes trying to find the cheapest parking lot. Anyways, the door opens and I'm greeted by my old friend who just recently graduated from UM law school and made some quick friends who play poker. I get myself comfortable with a beer and just start walking around the place looking at which table looks the juiciest. Place is packed with some VERY hot lawyers who i wouldn't mind letting them charge me for some bad behavior ;) haha...

My buddy comes up to me with a huge smile and says, "bro, I know you needed this. All these tables are full of players that have deep pockets so this is not a home game where you have everyone with just a buy in or two......why you drooling?"

I rush over to an empty seat and introduce myself to everyone. Everyone seems very happy and just joyful of losing money. Some dude lost about $1200 in a pot and was just laughing about before saying "that was some great poker!". I don't know about you guys but christmas came early. Took me a good 30 minutes to warm up to the table before I really started tearing it apart. Here's one hand that had the crowd going crazy:

I was dealt 45 off and I was in the HJ position waiting to see how many limpers were gonna jump into this like usual on this table.

Hero-45 off

Villian-AA

Hero raises to $70. One caller

Flop-4 Q 5 with a flush draw. Villian raises to $70 into a $143 pot.

Hero reraises to $175. Villian calls.

Turn-4. Villian checks.

Hero bets out $250. Villian go's all in and I take one fucking large look at my turn card before I call his all in. No ace came out and the guy says to me, "nice turn..." then rebuys.

I won about 6 all ins out of 6. The deck started getting a little cold after 6 hours of play and I just cashed out and started taking some car bombs with my buddy. The night was good and I credited the money over to him to take care of it till the next game. I took down another home just two nights ago and I can just smell how much more is going to be created. I heard there's two more in broward which is up north and I'm going to do that this upcoming week. There's another this upcoming thursday but probably the worst home game i can go to with just a $10 buy in playing at .25/.50....but fuck it, i will grind anything that is available. I have work tonight and I have the kitchen playing some stud during break and after. I have no idea what poker is planning out for Miami but if it continues, I might be shitting out gold! lol laterZ
