Going to WSOP is still way too expensive for me. I'm looking forward to at some point be able to go.
Have fun and good luck to all of you who's going.

A return trip is about $1800 if you buy now but it is the living expenses and the entry fee I'm mostly worried about.

You can find cheap rooms (obv) and a lot of the entry fee's are cheaper than the flight so, take your shot sir

Another possible variable to add into the mix is that after joining the Harrah's Total Rewards, &/or other players' club options around town, things seem to get further discounted as time goes on and you begin to stack up the bonus points, etc.
{may take a little while to see the benefit of such things though.....but also maybe something to be mindful of, none-the-less.}
& i think this year they're offering 6 different NLH'e events at the $1,000 entry fee level due to last year's success of a single similar event.....so we'll have to see if that becomes a more standardized thing {at least for the time being} as well, and/or if some other games get add'd to the list of "smaller' buy-in events too.
Just to add a little more food for thought on the matter....
But then again, I suppose "bankroll management' is a must though, & we all have our various elements at work-play to consider.
At any rate = Best o' Luck to all, & All the best!

I really would like to but I intend to participate in the main event when I go. If I want to play some smaller tournaments I would go to WSOPE which is like $200 for plane tickets.
