I'm not a big fan of PH either, but since this year he has played poker more seriously and it looks as if his results get better along with his new mindset.BobboSlice wrote:FLIP if you had the same number of chances as he did, played just as many events as he has overt the years.... How many bracelets do you think you would have??

Re: *** WSOP 2010 ***
i think i'd be okay with Dwan winning a bracelet...
we'll see if it's meant to be this go round & if he can pull it off, etc.
looks pretty well in the lead at the moment over at the final table.
and still running between events?!

"Tom "Durrrr" Dwan isn't spending his one-hour dinner break eating and refueling. Instead, he's moved over to Event No. 15: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship and is trying to build up a stack over there. If you'd like to follow coverage of his multi-tabling , head over to that live reporting page here while you wait for the final table to recommence.'

Re: *** WSOP 2010 ***
Down to 3 players in the $1500 NL Holdem event with Tom Dwan nursing a somewhat short stack of about 2 million while his opponents have about 2.5 and 7 million respectively. Durrrr had to survive a sketchy all-in preflop with 97 vs A10 but he managed to get trips and stay alive.
It's hard to imagine Tom getting much closer to a bracelet than this over the next two years. This could be his best chance at the huge payday he is claiming will be his "biggest ever" if he secures a bracelet with all the prop action he took beforehand.
I'm watching the updates to see what happens each hand from this feed: http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/updates.asp?grid=764&tid=10832

Update:
After taking down some small pots uncontested Dwan grinded his stack up to about 3 million before the other two got their stacks in with the shorter getting busted out in 3rd.
Ladies and gentlemen we are now heads up...fasten your seatbelts.

That's gotta feel like a punch to the gut. Oh well, plenty more events for him to go, I'm sure he'll get another chance soon.
