Haha.. Sucks about that laptop. MY story takes place at a local Horse Racing track that also has poker tables. I was playing 2/4 limit holdem and was almost ready to call it a night. It was around 9pm ad i get KK. So i obv raise it, get called by a woman around 60-70years old. I notice that she seems totally tired almost ASLEEP at the table.Now I feel bad about beating an old lady while she was half alseep at the table but i also coulda used the money.. So i raise and re-raise every street While her husband now is putting in the calling chips. I didnt really care about that. So even as my friend is standing behind her seeing her cards shaking his head DONT BET JAY.. I did anyways and her husband showed me the bad news. She had a flush and now was snoring at the table. Her husband apollogized to me and said she was Narcoleptic. So I lost about 50$ to a 70 year old lady while she was asleep. Thats my funny story. Me and my friend still laugh about it to this day

I had just turned 20 (Allowed to buy liquor at the bars in Norway). Came home pretty drunk, laid down in my bed playing some cashgame and won a buyinn or two, cant remember excactly. Next thing I remember i'm waking up throwing up all over my 3k$ laptop. Shit was totaled:/

This was a long day of gambling a few months ago. I went to casino with a friend at around 7am. He wanted to catch a few degens that had been up all night and I wanted to play the $5-500 blackjack table, as I wasn't rolled too tight (less than $300 at the time). I will tell anyone that blackjack is probably more of a grind than poker, but has more constant action. I made a few brilliant plays, one of which backfired: I had 5,5 and the dealer shows a 2. The count is in the dirt, so if I hit I'm guaranteed a low card and will have to hit several times to get a respectable sum, low cards are also incredibly good for the dealer since he has a deuce up. I split my fives and get a 6, I double down and get a 5 for a total of 16. On the other 5 I do the same but get 4-5 for a total of 14. My strategy wasn't to get close to 21 but rather to "warm" the deck so the dealer would bust. The dealer turns over a 3 and draws, and draws, and draws, and draws. His spread looked like this 2-3-A-8-A-6... add that up then check your shorts for skidmarks.

At around noon the table changed flags to $10-500, I color up to three black chips and three quarters + $140ish in paper and head over to the poker room to wait for a 1/3 PLO game that was starting. It was a bust, the people were really trying to get it in, double up, and leave, it was on a time clock ($5-30 minutes) but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. Also I didn't know beforehand but there is no cap on the buy-in since it's pot limit, I was the only person that sat down with less than $500 on the table. It wasn't too long untill I found my way back to hold 'em, where I actually ran into an old friend I haven't seen in years. A few random beats and I decide it's just not my night and these chips would do better at buying drinks.

With drink in hand I talk to friend that is hanging out by an ashtray, shoot the shit, and I get another beverage. Then I see a slot machine giving me the eye, I hardly ever spin the bastards but figured, "why not". On my very last spin three 7's line up across the middle (yes this was that night-prev.blog) It took a while to sink in that nothing was happening. I thought this fucker must be broken, as it turned out if I had bet $2 I would have won $150, but for $1...nothing.

Where do you go after that? You take a beat like that from a fucking machine and you just give up. So I went back home to a semi-local bar where I found yet another friend I haven't seen in ages, this one was of the female variety and after about 3 hours of jokes, stories about old co-workers, and questions she finally pops the big one, "wanna fuck?",

Just some of in real life things that happend to me...

**I was supposed to see a move with my gf a few months back and was late arriving to pick her up so we made it to the movie late. She said we wouldn't be able to get tickets but I said:

"Nah, Let me check if Late Registration is still available"

**2 years ago I needed new glasses and to buy them they give you a free eye test for the prescription of the lens.

Doctor says ' Do you read or use a computer a lot?'
me 'I read and I also use the computer a lot'
him 'word processing and surfing, or additional strain on the eyes'
me 'Well I play a little online poker sometimes'
him 'ok, well lets see how your eyes are'

He then switches off the lights and I do the 'please read the lines test. He says 'read the 2nd line please'
The 2nd line has a 3 K J 2. So I obviously say, 'Three, King, Jack, Deuce' I had no idea what I said was wrong until he looked at me and said 'A little poker?' Then I clued in.
