How to adjust?
So the count down is on i offically have 81 days till i turn 21!
I jus wanted some imput on what to expect playing at live cash and tourneys vs. playing online. Granted I do play in a cash game underground, its .50/1 NL holdem only an u can only buy in for 40$ fridays u can buy in for 100$ so its a very very loose game and u cant play good poker its basic wait and shove. You can straddle left of BB only an that mixes it a little bit more. Its a tough game to beat nonetheless, but how is the play at the casino vs online? similar? or wayyy different. obviosly u can make reads on opponents at casino, and online is more betting patterns and gut instinct imo. Whats the donk/fish ratio of casino vs online ahahah? what are some of the better tables/casinos to play at? or good tourneys? Im gonna go beserek if they dont let me in that damn place soon hahah ohh and hows the food? some ppl i talk to say it sucks others its good? I live near louisville ky in indiana and theres a horseshoe boat right down the road.

Re: How to adjust?
seems like every casino situation is slightly different, but usually also with many similarities as well.
seems like every poker table's dynamics are slightly different, but soon you'll recognize who is a regular there...and how certain folks are playing.
do your best to spot who is who, and try to keep some basic idea of gambling styles in mind too.
do your best to pick your spots to make moves, and also try to follow your instincts.
oh...and if you decide to become one of "the regulars" somewhere, I'd definitely suggest signing up for whatever "player's bonus club" options are there; pending availability, etc.
& if you have multiple options, pick the place that makes you generally feel most comfortable.

yup yup...usually comps, discounts here'N'there at the casino, sometimes freerolls for the people who played a certain amount of hours in a week/month, and that sorta thing, etc.

~Link to Harrah's (Caesar's) Total Rewards program.
(The Poker Rooms themselves might have there own little promotions set up, such as the freerolls for people with a certain amount of hours and all that jazz.)
