I'm going to play some events, not sure yet if it will be in Venetian or Amazon Room...

I'll stay in either Palms or Aria for two weeks starting from the 28th June.

Played one of the smaller NLHE events two years ago and busted out on the last hand of day 1 cashing $2,500 or so.

My main event:

Could you tell us more about these satellites/other Rio side action? Frequency, levels, buy-ins etc, and are the games soft?

Will hit the tables in the end of June.

They range in buy-ins from $65/$125/$175 all the way up to 1000 if not more. For example I played in the $125 and you get two wsop tourny tokens (worth $500 each)and $120 in cash. You can chop them if you want but I like to play for the winner. Chips can only be used to buy in WSOP events. If you are a good sitngo player I would highly recommend it. I have had some really easy tables with people just wanting to take a cheap shot at the WSOP. One guy had never even played in a single table tourny. If you need anymore info let me know. I won another one today. Also cash games are super juicy over there and range from $1-3 to any limit and also great plo action. You would think it would be filled with great players but the 1-3 was much softer than the venetian or even MGM.

I hear ya turkey, I love the mgm for some reason, something about playing poker and watching a thunderstorm at the rainforrest cafe lol, if I play nl anywhere its def the mgm. Something about the games there feel more like your at a homegame than an actualy casino. Good luck in the wsop, i will catch up with you in a month.

Sounds good. I hope coinflip puts on some kind of party. I railed Antonio Esfandiari at the 1k nl day 1b today. Only watched him for about 20 mintues. No big hands to report. Watched Devilfish double in the first round all by using his wit. Got a guy to bluff into him when he flopped a set pure genius.. Yesterday railed Tom Dawn(also 1k nl day 1a though) and watched him bluff his stack off, young kid make a real hero call with middle pair in the big blind. Dawn was staring him down and fired all there barrels with air......

Just a heads up for all the people coming out to the series.. More and more scumbags seem to be playing poker nowadays. After two days ago seeing two guys almost throw down at the table in Rio WSOP cash games had a guy today go on and on about how he was going to kick may ass and teach me some respect for taking his stack. I don't know about everyone else but I lose and win like a man.. Just ridiculous the guy followed me to the cage and continued to tell me he was gong to teach me respect. Sometimes this town still feels like the wild wild west..... Be careful out here I am pretty sure there is something in the water because these are turning into daily occurances...
