August 16th sees the airing of the first episode of a new poker reality tv series at the G4 network, titled "2 Months, 2 Million". It's a new twist in this genre, featuring four young online pros whose mission (as the title suggests) is to win $2 million combined in two months playing online poker.

The series features Jay 'pr1nnyraid' Rosenkrantz, Brian 'Flawless_Victory' Roberts, Emil 'whitelime' Patel, and Dani 'Ansky' Stern. The producers rented a 10,000 square feet (930 square meters) house for the four just off the Las Vegas Strip, where they lived for the duration of the challenge.

Some features of the house: a "war room" where each of them have a 50" plasma monitor in use, and the Tilt Room furnished with baseball bats, hockey sticks, fresh fruit and vegetables to vent off the steam after some bad beats.

And if that's not enough, the guys had a weekly side bet where the one with the worst result would be at the mercy of others. Punishments will include going to a buffet in a tutu, and playing the harp on the Strip. The cameras will also follow our "Fantastic Four" to the hottest nightclubs and shops in town.

It promises to be quite entertaining, tune in to the G4 channel on Sundays at 9pm ET starting August 16th. There will be 10 half-hour episodes in total, and European viewers will find them on the Internet on Mondays.

Ps. If you want to see Dani "Ansky" Stern (pictured) play, check out the first episode of WSOP broadcasts, featuring the final table of the 40th Anniversary $40k NL Hold'em.
