Cable channel G4 have made the surprise decision not to renew the poker reality series 2 Months, 2 Million. One of the show's stars, Jay "pr1nnyraid" Rosenkrantz talked about the situation to Poker News Daily.

2 Months, 2 Million ran for 10 episodes on G4 starting last August. In the show, 4 online sharks (from left to right, Dani Stern, Brian Roberts, Emil Patel, and Rosenkrantz) lived in a rented house in Las Vegas and set themselves the goal of winning $2 million online in 2 months - amid all the partying and crazy sidebets. The quartet missed their goal by a wide margin, but nonetheless won $676,000 in two months.

The show was well received in the poker community and went down well with the G4 target audience, 18 to 34-year old males, so it's rather surprising that G4 lost their interest in the show. There are no gambling-related shows in G4's current schedule.

Rosenkrantz explains to Poker News Daily that the quartet is "exploring their options" regarding the show. Maybe a new poker reality show on the works for some other network?
