Andreas Hoivold found life hard on his first ever visit to High Stakes Poker, as in the second episode of Season 6 the Norwegian pro lost his $200k buy-in and quit the table without reloading. However, he says he has no regrets. "I had the honor of playing in what probably is the best poker game ever assembled," he said to Pokerlistings.com.

Hoivold lost the last of his money when he hit top pair on a Q high board but Gus Hansen had hit two pair with 63. Hoivold missed his outs despite running it twice, decided not to reload and thanked the table. The same had happened to Phil Hellmuth earlier, though he didn't thank anybody before leaving the room.

Hoivold says he was totally card dead and didn't flop even a pair in 4-5 hours, but continues on Pokerlistings.com, "I should have played better and more aggressively."

Despite his less than successful shot to HSP, Hoivold didn't come back from Las Vegas empty handed. As he told on his blog earlier, he met a pretty dealer at the Golden Nugget and in true Vegas style, the couple got married after just a few days. Read the news here.
