It's a big week in Annette Obrestad's young life, as she is finally set to make her official debut in Las Vegas after turning 21 in September. The tv cameras will be there to see the Norwegian online phenom take on five well known pros in a yet unnamed episode of Poker After Dark. Annette's opponents are Mike Matusow, Antonio Esfandiari, Erick Lindgren, Phil Laak, and Phil Hellmuth.

Annette was supposed to play at the recent WPT Festa al Lago already but she missed the event because of a hiccup in registering. Maybe that's why she seems to be especially excited to be finally able to play, as is evident on her recent Twitter update: "My PAD line up: Matusow, Esfandiari, Lindgren, Laak, Hellmuth. and MEEEEEEEEE yay!" She wants to win badly but being a woman, that's not the only thing on her mind: "PAD filming tomorrow at 1pm zomg I have to win! Got outfit planned... shoes on the other hand........."

Annette has in fact already played in a Las Vegas casino, namely at Hard Rock where Pokernews' Matthew Parvis organized a fun $1/$2 NL hold'em cash game session for her. You can read about it on Parvis' blog here.
