Matt Damon and Ben Affleck confimed on Thursday that they will play on the fourth annyal WSOP Ante Up For Africa charity tournament, according to the AUFA website.
On July 3, 2010 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, the Fourth Annual WSOP Ante Up For Africa Charity Poker Tournament will bring together stars of the screen and felt once again for a little friendly poker competition at an event that has raised millions to date. Ante Up For Africa (AUFA) is excited to confirm that two of these celebrity poker players participating once again this year are actor, producer and director Ben Affleck and actor and producer Matt Damon.
Both Damon and Affleck are long-time poker enthusiasts and veteran WSOP Ante Up For Africa Tournament players who hold the cause close to their hearts. Each has played beside a number of poker professionals and celebrities alike at past AUFA No Limit Texas Hold ‘em Poker tournaments, including: Ray Romano, Adam Sandler, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, George Lopez, Casey Affleck, Jason Alexander, Montel Williams, Shannon Elizabeth along with poker pros, Howard Lederer, Phil Hellmuth, Erik Seidel, Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Greg Raymer, Phil Laak, Andy Bloch and more.
