As predicted by many, the new Ivey Room at the Aria Casino is proving a serious competitor for Bobby's Room as the venue for the biggest game in Las Vegas. Currently there is a $200/$400 mixed game running frequented by the likes of Barry Greenstein, Eli Elezra and Todd Brunson.
The Big Game in Bobby's Room has sometimes been played at 2k/4k level which is of course ten times as much as 200/400, but Ivey's Room has also been able to attract younger pros like Brandon Cantu and Shaun Deeb as regulars.
The usual mix at Ivey's Room includes Limit Hold'em, Omaha-8, Stud, Stud-8, Badugi, Triple Draw, and Cap NL Single Draw.
The sound-proofed room has only one table, and unlike Bobby's Room with its' glass walls, players have complete privacy at Ivey's Room.

The glass windows is the best part of Bobbys room. Last December I asked the floorman If I could go into bobbys room (it was empty) and He turned me down. I offered him 5$ as a joke but no dice...
I should of just walked in like I have been there before (he dont know who I am + I had a fancy FTP jacket on)
Vegas...good times
