The Borgata in Atlantic city will host another $500,000 Guaranteed prize pool event in May 2009. The event will be run from May 17th to 20th at the East Coast's premier poker destination.

The event will be a $1,650 buy-in NL Hold'em tournament and it will have 30,000 chips starting stacks and long levels (50 minutes on Day 1, 60 minutes on Day 2, 75 minutes on Day 3). It is expected that the guarantee will be exceeded as the three deep-stack events at Borgata have attracted 919, 956 and 775 players respectively ending up with a prize pool 175% larger than the original number.

The borgata will also hold four satellites. This is the schedule:

  • Sunday, May 10 at 11AM ($165 + $35)
  • Friday, May 15 at 4PM ($330 + $50)
  • Saturday, May 16 at 11AM ($330 + $50)
  • Sunday, May 17 at 4PM ($330 + $50)
