This Sunday not only Full Tilt Poker is attempting to break PokerStar's record for the largest poker tournament ever held; they are doing it themselves, too, with the PokerStars Guinness World Record tournament held today at 2:10pm ET / 8:10pm CET!
Buy-in for the record attempt is $1 and there's a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. You can find the tourney at PokerStars' lobby under Tourney / Special.
At the time of writing, the PokerStars' tourney has almost 50,000 registered players while the FTP Record Breaker has little more than 45,000. (Read about the FTP tourney here.)
Who ever gets most players, it's already obvious the previous record of 35,000 players will be shattered - as long as the servers can stand the load. Register for both tournaments for just $6 to be part of poker history.
Both PokerStars and FTP attempting a world record today
