The Canadian pro Brad Booth paid a visit to the Hardcore Poker Show to talk about his Full Tilt Poker sponsorship deal; or rather the lack of it, as FTP has stopped all payments to Booth without bothering to inform him of the reasons.
Booth says he had been promised a monthly cash sum, rakeback plus more. The deal was struck with Ray Bitar, who is one of the owners and in charge of sponsorship deals. However, after Booth had spent some time "up north in his igloo" (as he himself puts it) Bitar stopped paying him.
"I thought we were friends, but..." Booth said on the show. "I hope you're listening to this, Ray: you're kind of an idiot."
Booth says this was only a handshake deal with nothing written on paper, so there's not much he can do about it. He points out that he's got nothing against Howard Lederer and other pros on FTP as they probably don't even know about the whole thing.
