On Tuesday, it was business as usual for Isildur1 on Full Tilt Poker. First it was jungleman12 who lost $471,799 to the swede. Next opponent was Brian Townsend and the result was even better, $722,407 profit. After Townsend quit it was up to Brian Hastings to take on Isildur1. The match lasted for almost 3,000 hands, and when Brian called it a day, he was up an historical $4,206,960.
Brian Hastings stated on the 2+2 forums on Monday that he will take all of his own action at $500/$1,000 despite the fact that he was staked in the nosebleed games earlier this year:
"Everyone who took pieces of my 500/1k action this spring, just so there's no confusion I am taking the standing pieces off the table, I don't remember if it was supposed to be for all 500/1k or just for vs Gus but anyway my situation has changed a lot in the past 6 months and I wish to end with the standing pieces because of that." Brian said on the 2+2 forums.
After the session, Brian thanked everyone for congratulations and added: "And to those who I was talking to in that previous post, I owe you all a drink or 10. Feel free to take me up on that anytime".
Some of the biggest pots played on Tuesday:
Bottom pair and a wrap versus three pairs and an overcard - $683K pot
