The release of the iPad poker app comes roughly one year after the company released its first mobile real-money app for smart phones. has announced the launch of a real-money bwin poker app for the iPad, based on the same interface as the company's real-money apps for Android and iOS smart phones.

bwin was one of the first companies to develop and release real-money gambling on mobile devices with its smart phone app already in January last year.

The new iPad app will come fully integrated with the bwin online poker client, giving players full access to their accounts while they are on-the-go, says Berthold Kao, who heads the Mobile, Touch and Video department at

"The bwin iPad Poker app gives customers unrestricted access to the bwin poker account – now with the full iPad resolution of 1,024 by 768 pixels," Kao explains in a press release.

With the release, will be close to fulfilling its portfolio of mobile gaming applications, meaning that the company can now offer players a complete mobile gaming experience, Kao says.
