Cake Poker Room has developed new techonology so that its software client is now available on users' mobile phones. This is one step ahead in the online gaming industry as not even the biggest poker rooms have yet to adopt any sort of mobile platform solution.

The installment of Cake Poker Mobile requires a Windows 5.0 mobile device, some users might have to install Microsoft's .NET Compact Framework, which can be downloaded for free. Your internet connection must be 2G or 3G, and WiFi, Bluetooth and direct PC connections are also supported. So basically if your mobile phone has an internet connection then you can have Cake Poker in it.

"Cake Poker Mobile can transfer tens of megabytes per hour of game play." mentioned Cake Poker. There is no word on whether this application will be available for poker rooms in the Cake Network as Cake Poker Room works independently.
