For those of you wondering, where did the Coinflip Challenge go, here's some info on what is happening. The Challenge is still very much on and will be played next year but in a new format.
The Coinflip Challenge that was originally meant to be part of the GSOP Live Riga festivities has not been cancelled as some feared but merely postponed. Sune Berg Hansen and Peter Hallberg are no longer with Betsafe, one of the sponsors of GSOP Live, and instead Bet24 will take over the sponsorship of the Danish duo. So the Challenge will be back at a later date in a new venue.
In the Coinflip Challenge, the challenger must beat three world class competitors in three disciplines; Ziigmund in Pot Limit Omaha, the former world champ Peter Hallberg in backgammon, and grandmaster Sune Berg Hansen in chess.
