As the date for Poker in the Park gets closer a new speaker has been added to the repertoire. Derek Kelly, founder of the Gutshot Club in London and of Ireland's new Voodoo Card Club will be attending next month's festival as a speaker.

Derek Kelly will be in Leicester Square for a 30-minute lecture on the growth of modern poker in Britain and Ireland. He will then sign copies of his latest book, 'Tales of a Degenerate Poker Player'. The lecture will be a trip down memory lane for old-school UK poker players and will tell new players how poker became what it is today.

Poker in the Park will take place at London's Leicester Square starting on August 13th at 5pm. The festival will also feature poker pros like Neil Channing, Nick Persaud, Ian Frazer, Paul Jackson and Kara Scott who will answer questions and sign autographs.
