Doyle Brunson writes in his blog how he broke his own poker rule during the high stakes cash games in December. Doyle writes that he has been on a losing streak and he broke his own rule: "If you lose four or five times in a row, you should always take a break."

- But, the games look good and I couldn’t stop, and I’ve paid the price by losing seven out of the last eight plays. I won’t get close to another poker table until 2010, Doyle writes in his blog.

Doyle's losing streak has been mentioned also in his Twitter updates in December:

"I'm out of my tournament. The way I've been playing poker, I'd better find a job or I'll soom be in the bread line at some homeless shelter."

"Just got back from Taco Bell. The way I've been playing poker, that's all I can afford. Actually, it wasn't bad."
