Action was blazing hot on Full Tilt Poker on Tuesday, with Tom "durrrr" Dwan and the new name martonas leading the way in a truly sick marathon session. martonas had probably one of the swingiest days ever seen in online poker. He started out by losing more than $2.3 million after crashing into a wall called durrrr but kept on playing and incredibly managed to win most of it back, ending up "just" -$859k in the red which might have felt almost like victory to him after the beats he took earlier in the day.

martona's roller coaster ride started in 500/1,000 NL Hold'em, where he and durrrr played almost 5,000 hands heads up or at 6-max tables with other players. durrrr, who had been losing to martonas through August, finally managed to turn the tables and was up by $2.7 million at one point. There was an insane amount of big pots over 300k, and during the last couple of hours most of them went to durrrr.

martonas wasn't about to give up, though, but instead moved most of his games to 300/600 PLO and suddenly started winning again. durrrr had to give about a million back before he finally called it a day, saying he had been playing for 24 hours straight. martonas kept on playing against Phil Ivey and others, and won $400k in HU PLO against the Main Event finalist.

martona's arrival in the games in August has really fired up the tables and given new life to high stakes NL Hold'em. Speculation about his identity has filled the forums, with one popular theory being that this Swedish player is Jonas "nebuchad" Danielsson staked by Martin de Knijff (MARTin & jONAS, hence martonas).

Whoever he is, he had been winning like crazy before yesterday and is still up by more than $1.5 million in August. Results from August 1 to 18:

durrrr was at some point almost 3 million down in August and it got so bad that he even had to deposit into his account on Full Tilt Poker - for the second time in his life, as he revealed in this table chat with martonas:
