Tom "durrrr" Dwan has posted an update on his blog and talks about some of his games with Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies and Patrik Antonius.

Dwan mentions that in the last few days he got some of his earlier losses back from Ziigmund and says, "I’d like to think that the losses had a good amount to do with some bad luck, but i know the wins definitely had to do with good luck." Part of the session a couple of days back was at the huge 3k/9k game, where players agree that every pot must be 3-bet to 9k preflop regardless of the hands. "This is obviously a retardedly huge game, and both of us should probably be playing at least a little bit smaller," durrrr says. This time it worked for durrrr, who won approximately 800k at 3k/9k in a very short time.

The entry also contains some rare analysis by durrrr when he talks a bit about a hand played between him and Patrik Antonius. The hand was at a mixed game table when the game was 300/600 PLO, see the hand history here.

durrrr says his plan was to check-raise or possibly trap by check-calling the turn. "Patrik checked behind however, but i got one of the 2 rivers patrik can’t get away from," durrrr continues, but adds, "I need to give Patrik credit - with a hand that should never fold he thought for about 1 minute b/c he was obviously extra worried he was beat."
