Last night the players at the NBC Heads-Up Championship in Las Vegas reached the quarter finals. Among the remaining profiles is last year's finalist Erik Seidel.

Eight players are left in Las Vegas at the NBC National Heads-Up Championship after round three finished shortly ago.

Full Tilt Pro Erik Seidel who also reached the final last year won his match against Phil Gordon and will fight against the tournament's last remaining female player, Vanessa Selbst, tomorrow.

One of the most interesting matches leading to the quarter finals was the battle between the very successful live player Michael "The Grinder" MIzrachi and cash specialist Frenchman David Benyamine.

Benyamine took the victory after calling an all-in shove from a short-stacked Mizrachi who only tabled 6d 8d. Benyamine had Ac Jh and was in good shape to head to the next round. The flop did not help any of the two players but a jack on the turn sealed the fate for Mizrachi, cashing $30,000 for his efforts.

Olivier Busquet, David Oppenheim, Chris Moneymaker, Andrew Robl and WSOP Main Event Champion Jonathan Duhamel are the other five players ready for the quarter finals.

The remaining eight players are secured minimum $75,000, while the champion boxes $750,000 together with the prestigious title, which Annie Duke won last year.

The cards will be in the air at 10.45 am local time tomorrow.

The quarter finals:

Olivier Busquet vs Jonathan Duhamel

Chris Moneymaker vs David Oppenheim

Erik Seidel vs Vanessa Selbst

Andrew Robl vs David Benyamine
