The four men who executed the EPT Berlin robbery earlier this year have received jail sentences ranging from 3 and a half years to 3 years 9 months for armed robbery and grievous bodily harm.

The men arrived at the tournament venue in a black Mercedes and stormed the tournament floor armed with handguns and machetes, causing a chaos in which several people were injured. They got away with part of the tournament money, 242,000 euros of which only 4,000 euros have been recovered.

One of the men, aged 21, received a 3 years 9 months sentence while the others, aged 19 to 20, were handed down 3 years 6 months sentences by a youth court.

Two other men, who are alleged to be the organisers of the raid are awaiting trial in August. At least one of them apparently took part in the EPT event.

None of the perpetrators have revealed what happened to the money that is still missing, almost €240,000.
