Erik Seidel started his 100th World Poker Tour event in strong fashion. Seidel, who was rewarded for his accomplishment at the start of the tournament, finished Day 1 at the WPT London in first place with 226k in chips.

Seidel has some very impressive statistics in his 100 WPT events. His total earnings are $1.96 million, coming from 18 cashes which include three final tables and one win (at the 2008 Foxwoods Poker Classic).

250 players entered the event. Also in the top 10 are Phil Ivey and Praz Bansi.
