Erik Seidel last night continued his remarkable 2011 run by making yet another major cash, this time in the NBC National Heads-Up Championship in Las Vegas.

Seidel entered the $25,000 buy-in event alongside 63 of poker's biggest stars and went on to eliminate players like Allen Cunningham, Andrew Robl and Jennifer Harman on his way to the final.

Seidel and Moneymaker went on to fight an entertaining battle at the Caesar's Palace Poker Tournament Room before Seidel finally got the better of Moneymaker as he tried to bluff a decisive pot, only to get called by Seidel's trip fives.

For the win, Seidel collects $750,000, which adds to what can only be described as an incredible 2011 run for the 51-year-old former backgammon shark.
