Poker Productions, the production company behind NBC's and Full Tilt Poker's Face the Ace, eeem to have other worries besides the dismal ratings for the show. Someone called Brandon McSmith is suing the company for an astronomical 85 million dollars claiming they stole his idea for the show.

According to McSmith, he offered his idea to Poker Productions two years ago. In his plans, amateur players would challenge poker pros to heads up matches to win seats to the World Series of Poker. The pros would be hidden behind doors so the amateur has to pick his opponent in random.

Poker Productions rejected the idea, and then two years later they come up with Face the Ace, with a formula that rings a very loud bell in Brandon McSmith's head.

Face the Ace has been struggling in the ratings. It has now been moved to a different time slot in the Saturday afternoon.
