PartyPoker Premier League is on in Las Vegas and Luke "Fullflush1" Schwartz is among the 12 players battling for win at one of the most popular European tv tournaments. However, his flight from London to Las Vegas didn't go so smoothly but rather in true "Fullflush-style" as described by PartyPoker Blog.
It appears that Schwartz arrived for his flight just 45 minutes before scheduled take-off and was refused boarding for being late. Later on PartyPoker representatives got an email from the airline, which explains what happened then: “The passenger was told that the flight was closed and we could not take him. We were greeted with a barrage of F words and he was asked to leave.”
Determined to get there, Schwartz went to another airport and found a seat in a plane taking off to Vegas. But it seems like it was the wrong seat: “I was in economy but managed to fall asleep in first class for six hours. After six hours I woke and I had two crew over me asking me if I had a ticket…oops," Schwartz explains on PartyPoker Blog.
After finally arriving to reception at the tournament venue, Schwartz's first exasperated words were: "Why is everyone hating on me?" We can think of a few reasons...
Schwartz also met Phil Hellmuth and had this to say, "I met Phil Hellmuth at the reception – to be honest I always thought he was a donkey but actually he is a bit of a G."
Hellmuth, Schwartz and the other gangstas will be joined at the PartyPoker Premier League by the Italian online qualifier Giovanni Safina (pictured with Schwartz) and PartyPoker player Ian Frazer who were the last two to book their seats in the tournament.
