Major online poker room Full Tilt Poker recently announced it will try to break the Guinness World Record for the largest online poker tournament.

WHEN? This Sunday!

The record is currently held by its rival PokerStars, last December a tournament at PokerStars attracted 35,000 online poker players to their tables.

Full Tilt's Record Breaker tournament will be the finale to FIVE (a week of celebration for the poker room's 5th anniversary). It will take place at 15:05 ET on Sunday July 19th. Buy-in is $5 or 1,000 FTPs. The prize pool is a $250,000 guaranteed with $250,000 of money added. (PokerStars record breaking tournament had a $11 buy-in and $500,000 in the prize pool).

To make the tournament more attractive some big name players, such as Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, and Howard Lederer, are slated to participate.
