Full Tilt Poker's own "red pros" haven't usually shined at the FTOPS events, but on Saturday Gavin Smith made a big exception by taking down FTOPS XII Event #7, the $100+$9 NL Hold'em Rebuy.
1,807 players entered the event making a total of 3,982 rebuys or add-ons, with the player UW14 making it to heads-up with Gavin Smith but eventually settling for second place and $81,600, while Smith collected $123,600 for the win.
Gavin Smith, who comes from Guelph, Ontario, has one WPT title and almost $4.7 million in total cashes from live tournaments. His last major cash was for 2nd place ($542k) at the WPT North American Poker Championship in October 2009. He is known for his many wacky prop bets, often made with his pal Joe Sebok.
