Gavin Smith was among the shortest stacks but managed to crawl into Day 2 at the WPT LA Poker Classic main event at the Commerce Casino. 463 players made it and Smith was in place 462; while this may not be the most significant part of poker history you'll ever read, it will have lifelong effect for the Canadian pro himself, as it means that he won a crazy last longer prop bet with his pals Joe Sebok and Jeff Madsen and won't have to take a tattoo of their faces in his skin. The other two were not so lucky.

The most horrible fate awaits Joe Sebok, who will have to take a tattoo of each of the other contestants mugs; Jeff Madsen will have it slightly easier and he has to have "only" Smith's face inked in his skin.

According to Pokerati.com, Sebok tried to buy his way out of the bet but the other two didn't accept, so he has no choice but to pay a visit to a tattoo artist.

Talking about the tournament, it attracted a very respectable crowd and the winner's prize will be a hefty $1.79 million. Masaaki Kagawa and Mark Seif hold the top spots after Day 1.
