Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies recently mentioned in his blog on Coinflip.com that he had played two monster pots at Bellagio, first one worth $1.7 million and the second one $2.4 million, reportedly the biggest pot ever played in Bobby's Room. After flying back to Finland, Ilari talked to Coinflip.com to give us the rundown on these huge pots.

Both pots are PLO, in the first one Ilari's opponent raises from the button and Ilari calls with TTxx.

Flop comes T65 rainbow, Ilari checks, button bets, Ilari check-raises and his opponent calls. Pot is $315,000 before the turn.

Turn is a 4, Ilari checks, button bets pot and has approximately $400,000 behind. Ilari calls.

"I knew that player would pay me with a straight if I fill up on the river," Ilari says but continues, "I played the hand wrong, though. I should put it in on the turn cause he might have a smaller set."

River is another 4 to fill up Ilari's hand. He bets and his opponent calls all-in. "Probably he had the straight," Ilari says. "It was a great feeling, And there was a hot masseuse giving me a massage during the hand. A huge pot and everything just great," Ilari reminisces.

The other one was not so smooth sailing, though. It was a four-way pot between player 1, Ilari, Patrik Antonius and David Benyamine. There was approximately $250,000 in the pot when the flop came T94 with two hearts and a spade. Player 1 bets $150,000.

"I had A256 with the nut flush draw," Ilari says to Coinflip.com. "There was no point in just calling with two players behind me, so I raised pot."

Patrik Antonius calls all-in for approximately $800,000 and David Benyamine also goes all-in. There is more than $2.4 million in the pot and it is agreed the turn and river wll be run twice.

"Patrik has AQJ5 with the queen-high flush draw for hearts and the ace-high runner runner draw for spades. First one comes 9-A, and Patrik wins with his queen kicker. Second one comes two spades and Patrik makes the backdoor nut flush. He takes down a pot more than 2.4 million," Ilari says to Coinflip.com. (Ilari doesn't know David Benyamine's hand in this pot.)

Ilari flew back to his home in Finland a few days ago and says it was a great 5 weeks in Vegas despite the fact that he only broke even in the games after losing more than $3 million in Chinese Poker. "The only problem is I had to leave to the airport in a hurry so I forgot to check out from Bellagio," he suddenly remembers. "I guess I should call them, I wonder what they will charge me."
