The German player "Boku87" has made an incredible feat on PokerStars, turning a $100 bankroll into $10,000 in just 14 days while playing only $3 to $16 sit & go's! As a result, he won an additional $90,000 in prop bets.
How the hell do you do that playing $16 SNG's, you might ask. Well, by multitabling 30 to 50 tables for 2 weeks straight - without going insane. Boku87 seems to be a natural in this task, as you can see by this Youtube-video here, in which he's playing 51 tables at the same time.
Boku87 had 15 days to complete his challenge, but in the end he had one day to spare when he reached his target. All in all he played approximately 7,000 games, meaning on average 40 games per hour if he played for 12 hours a day. The rules for his challenge can be found here.
It wasn't all smooth sailing, of course, as he saw his winrate dropping alarmingly at one point, but luckily he realised what the problem was - in a dream! He writes in his blog, "I dreamed about playing poker last night (well, what are you expecting when you play poker all day) and I asked myself why I am performing so bad when an inner voice suddenly told me: You play too many tables you moron." So Boku87 switched back to multitabling "only" 30 tables and his winrate went back to normal.
