It's been almost a year since Isildur1 showed up at the high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker, running his winnings up to $6 million in a few months before losing it all and disappearing from the games. Now it looks like the Swede is back at least for the time being.
Yesterday Isildur1 played three heads up sessions at 100/200 NLHE, first against the player 458854, then Tom "durrrr" Dwan, and finally Dwan's current Challenge opponent Daniel "jungleman12" Cates.
vs 4588554: 1,820 hands, Isildur1 won $80k
vs durrrr: 3,554 hands, Isildur1 won $115k
vs jungleman12: 3,378 hands, jungleman12 won $172k
So, after taking $195k from 4588554 and durrrr, Isildur1 lost almost all of it to jungleman12. Taking into account all of his hands recorded yesterday by Highstakesdb.com, the Swede (who most believe is Viktor Blom) had to settle for a $10k profit.
jungleman12 flops trips and gets Isildur1's stack
With players like Isildur1 and jungleman12 playing daily, railing the high stakes games suddenly got interesting again.
