Isildur1 just won't stop. Last night the Swedish player won $800k from Cole South and then followed it up by taking $560k from his old nemesis Brian Hastings.
Isildur1 and South started at 100/200 but finished their match at the 300/600 level. After 2,393 hands South had had enough and he quit the table $800,000 poorer.
Next up was Brian Hastings, who famously took all of Isildur1's previous winnings in one Omaha session last December. The match started at 300/600 but Isildur1 soon delicately expressed his wish to raise the stakes:
Isildur1: lets go 5001k u stpd donk
Brian Hastings: k
Isildur1 also reminded Hastings about the December session and the fact that variance might have had something to do with Hastings winning $4m in one sitting:
Isildur1: im getting tired , will play like 2 h more
Brian Hastings: k
Isildur1: but if u want we can make a promise
Isildur1: 10 h or sth
Isildur1: ?
Brian Hastings: sorry this thing is acting up still
Brian Hastings: 1 min
Isildur1: want to make promise for long session ?
Isildur1: if i do to
Brian Hastings: heh im not gonna play 10h sry
Brian Hastings: ill play 2 more
Brian Hastings: if i can figure this freakin thing out
Isildur1: lets make a promise of atleast 5 more
Brian Hastings: maybe another time i have schoolwork and stuff to do
Brian Hastings: sounds lame i know
Brian Hastings: im gonna try to find another mouse...brb
Isildur1: haha wtf
...
Isildur1: u cant run 3,2 m over ev every time
Isildur1: join last table
Isildur1: why are u so slow
Brian Hastings: ?
...
Brian Hastings: gg
Isildur1: play tomorrow ?
Brian Hastings: maybe, i have friend visiting in town
Brian Hastings: ill try
Isildur1: ok
Isildur1: gg
Isildur1 won $213k at 300/600 and almost $350k more at 500/1k, so Isildur1's total winnings for the day were almost $1.4 million.
Some of the biggest pots:
Isildur1 check-raises the river - pot $385K
All-in on turn - pot $334K
Isildur1 hits his hand on the river - pot $300K
Isildur1 has gone on another great run and is now up by $2.2 million in PLO in the last two days.
