It has been a busy few days on Full Tilt Poker's nosebleed-stakes tables. It was Isildur1 and Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies who guaranteed the action on Monday.
Sahamies lost over $700,000 in just over 700 hands at the 300/600 level before the stakes were raised up to 500/1000. After that, the match lasted for 350 hands and during the last HU session Isildur1, who is presumably a Swedish player, won over $300,000 more. Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies lost over $1M to the unknown Swede.
Some of the biggest pots played between Isildur1 and Ziigmund:
Aces against the top set - $422K pot
Both players hit on the flop - $240K pot
Top 2 vs top 2 - $240K pot
When Ziigmund quit playing, Isildur1 wasn't finished just yet. He played a long session against Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, Cole South and Brian Hastings before calling it a day. Hastings, who won millions from Isildur1 at the end of last year, managed to win another $550,000 from Isildur1 before it was time to end the action. Isildur1 played a 5373-hand marathon and finished the day with a nice $450K profit.
