Isildur1 keeps on challenging the toughest players at the high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker; this time he played heads up against Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey, who are proving to be his worst nemeses. Isildur1 had to settle for a combined loss of $1,171,750 against these two superstars.
Games were running on 4 tables with Antonius and 2 tables with Ivey, both at $500/$1,000 PLO. Ivey played just 670 hands winning more than $700k, while Antonius stayed to give the young Swede the action he craved.
Eventually the stacks got so deep that a $700k+ pot was inevitable. Finally Antonius was getting ready to leave but Isildur1 didn't take that so well:
Patrik Antonius: hi
Isildur1: ?
Patrik Antonius: u wanna just call it a day
Patrik Antonius: and play tomorrow?
Isildur1: noo , come on
Isildur1: jeez
Isildur1: every time you just leave
Patrik Antonius: im very tired i can play 20min more
Isildur1: 1 h u can do
Isildur1: i am tired to
Isildur1: but u just quit every time
Patrik Antonius: i will play 20more mins its 4 10 am here
Isildur1: k
After this exchange the battle raged on even harder than before as you can see from this hand: a $638k showdown
A couple of hands later Patrik finally called it a day:
Patrik Antonius: done for tonight
Isildur1: ok
Patrik Antonius: play tomorrow
Patrik Antonius: gg
Isildur1: yes
Isildur1: gg
In the end Patrik had won $436k in this session. According to Pokertableratings.com, Antonius and Ivey are the only players who have managed to stop the Isildur1 avalanche. Ivey has won $1.976 million from him in just 1,599 hands, while Antonius has played 11,332 with Isildur1 and won $1.524 million.
