Today's finally the day when the November Nine gather together at the Penn & Teller Theatre in Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to decide the new World Champion of poker. 46-year old amateur Darvin Moon leads the pack with top pros like Phil Ivey and James Akenhead starting with much smaller stacks. The winner walks away with more than $8.5 million.

Schedule for the final:

Sunday - off
Monday - 10pm local time (1am ET / 7am ET) - heads up starts
Tuesday - 9pm ESPN final table broadcast

November Nine:
(clicking on a player's name takes you to a video from the Main Event)

Seat 1 – Darvin Moon - 58.930.000
You won't find this 46-year old player at online poker tables, for he has never played online poker in his life; in fact, he doesn't even have a computer at home. What he does have is 30% of the chips at the start of the final table. Regarded by many as the weakest player at the table, he has himself stated that his card luck at the Main Event was "out of this world". Remarkably, he was never in jeopardy of going out in an all-in situation during the tournament.

Seat 2 – James Akenhead - 6.800.000

Shortest stack at the table, the 26-year old Londoner used to work as a train conductor before turning pro. 25 tournament cashes in two years. Runner up in a $1.5k WSOP event last year, he's hoping not to replicate his showing at the WSOP Europe final table in September, where he finished 9th.

Seat 3 – Phil Ivey - 9.765.000
Who?

Seat 4 – Kevin Schaffel - 12.390.000
Oldest player at the table at 52. About to retire from his printing business after 30 years. Has played poker since 12. Total tournament cashes (including WSOP Main Event) are $1.9 million.

Seat 5 – Steven Begleiter - 29.885.000
47-year old New Yorker and a Wall Street veteran. Won his seat at the Main Event in a 22-player home league. The other players in the league will share 20% of his winnings.

Seat 6 – Eric Buchman - 34.800.000
Also from New York, this is the 11th WSOP cash for this pro player. Second at chips and definitely one of the favorites at the final.

Seat 7 – Joseph Cada - 13.215.000
21-year old Joe Cada would be the youngest ever Main Event winner, topping Peter Eastgate's record from last year. Bought his first house at 19 with his online poker winnings. Played 12 WSOP events this year, cashing twice.

Seat 8 – Antoine Saout - 9.500.000
The other European player at the table also made the WSOP Europe final table this year, finishing 7th. Has cashed five times in tournaments since July, earning more than $250,000.

Seat 9 – Jeff Shulman - 19.580.000
The only player with previous experience at the Main Event final table, finishing 8th in 2000 when Chris Ferguson won the title. More than $2 million in total tournament cashes. One of the favorites, and a very vocal critic of Harrah's Entertainment. Shulman famously announced in July that he will throw his bracelet in the trash if he wins.

Prize pool:

1. $8.547.042
2. $5.182.928
3. $3.479.670
4. $2.502.890
5. $1.953.452
6. $1.587.160
7. $1.404.014
8. $1.300.231
9. $1.263.602

All players were paid the 9th place money when the final table was set in July, so the 9th place finisher will get nothing extra.

The blinds will start at 120k/240k with 30k ante. There's only 7 minutes left of this level; next level is 150k/300k (40k).
