Jani Vilmunen collected his first and the second ever WSOP bracelet for Finnish players at the WSOP Europe 5k PLO event. We got hold of Jani in London to find out about his thoughts after his feat.

"I was very focused throughout the tournament and my confidence was higher than ever," Jani said to Coinflip.com.

"When the last hand came down, I wasn't even surprised cause I had total faith in my win from the start of the event. During the final table I was certain that this one is mine."

Jani ran into some difficulties briefly when he lost his lead at the final table. "I just thought, 'Hey I gotta start playing my best again,' and that was enough for a cure."

Jani's celebrations at the casino were rather subdued. "When we went to a night club afterwards, that's where it really hit me," he says. "Ilari, Patrik, the other Finnish players and my friends were there with me and I was just brimming with joy. I'm playing better than ever right now."

"It has not been the best of years for me," says Jani, who is known by his nick name KObyTAPOUT on Full Tilt Poker. "That's why this win is especially sweet."

It must be even sweeter, since only a week ago Jani won the PLO 6-max event at WCOOP. Not many players can boast with two major back to back wins.

Finnish players had a strong presence at the final table with Jani's fellow countrymen Aarno Kiveliö finishing 3rd and Ville Haavisto 5th.

"Finnish players are simply the best at PLO," Jani states to Coinflip.com. "We are a nation of only 5 million but we dominate this game."

Jani also has an interesting strategy tip for boosting your confidence. His secret? The Eye of the Tiger!

"I listen to the Rocky soundtrack every morning and look at myself in the mirror. I see the eye of the tiger and I just know I'm gonna win!" Jani laughs.
